You find yourself overweight, and you do not want that. You do not want to be overweight, but normal like everyone else. When you look in the mirror, you are not satisfied with your body. You want to change your shape. Then you will be happy and joyful and able to join in with the rest. You feel ashamed when you are among people — on the street, in the bus or train, at a party. You are constantly occupied with it, and that causes an unpleasant feeling. In summer, you sweat and struggle in the heat, which you find uncomfortable and stressful. Finding clothes that fit is also a difficult puzzle. You always look for large sizes, and you want to get rid of that. Why doesn’t that nice piece of clothing fit? You see shoes you like, but unfortunately they do not fit. Too tight and constricting, so you leave them behind. You receive criticism from your surroundings because you are overweight. Building relationships is also difficult and a big puzzle. Sometimes you feel desperate and perhaps depressed. You long to reach your ideal weight, because then you will feel good and accepted. You become tired and insecure from being “overweight.” You crave a beautiful body, peace, and happiness. Then you become angry with yourself, at the fact that everything is so difficult. You have tried everything to lose weight, but it does not work. The desired result is slow to appear. When you find a moment of peace, you drift away in thought. Sometimes you think of the story of the caterpillar and the butterfly. A fat caterpillar sits chewing on a leaf and then goes to sleep. Deep in the night, the caterpillar transforms into a beautiful butterfly, freely flying through the flower fields in search of nectar. That is what you want — a beautiful and slim body, because then you will feel good. Do not panic, there is hope. I will take you step by step on the way to your ideal weight. Come along on the journey, for it will be an adventure. Your adventure. A journey towards your ideal weight and ease. You will have to sacrifice certain things, to work on yourself and lose weight.
